<body>Golden Path Games was founded by Marcie Yeager, LCSW, RPT-S and Daniel Yeager, LCSW, RPT-S. The therapeutic interventions that you will find on this site were developed at The Yeager Center for Children and Families in Lafayette LA. As play therapists, the Yeagers know that children learn and retain information best when they are engaged in play.

Marcie is the Game Designer for Golden Path Games. She has been designing games since 1995 and was the winner of the 1997 Childswork/Childsplay Games to Help People Contest. All of the games and activties included on this site are designed to acheive important therapeutic goals while having fun!

Our philosophy is summed up by this poem (author unknown):

_I tried to teach my child with books; he gave me only puzzled looks.
I tired to teach my child with words; they passed him by, oft unheard.
Despairingly I turned aside; &quot;How shall I teach this child?&quot; I cried.
Into my hand he put the key: *&quot;Come,&quot; he said, &quot;Play with me.&quot;*_
